Aldo Leopold wrote “A Sand County Almanac” in the late 40’s in which he

laid out “a land ethic”.  This book has become one of the pillars of

environmentalism, and I suspect it had a strong influence in the

formation of the Seventh UU Principle passed in the 1980’s.  I thought

everyone knew about Aldo Leopold, but have come to learn that is not the

case.  I hope to shed light on him in my sermon.
