The Winter Solstice is a few days away. Through the centuries, humans in the Northern hemisphere have developed rituals to help in this darkest, coldest, time of the year. This service examines those rituals, and also contemplates the notion of time as a circular phenomenon and asks whether ritual and doctrine serve the same purpose.
