Unitarian Universalists have a legacy of “deeds not creeds.” Our ministry includes service, education, advocacy, and public witness (the spiritual practice of taking a public position in support of justice). The national Unitarian Universalist Side With Love (previously Standing on the Side of Love) campaign harnesses the power of love to end oppression.

As an expression of our faith and values, the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) takes positions on relevant issues and periodically releases formal social justice statements.

On a national level, key priorities for UU congregations and communities include:
economic justice
environmental justice
immigrant justice
lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer justice
racial justice
reproductive justice
voting rights
