About 20 years ago, our congregation successfully completed the UUA LGBTQ “Welcoming Congregation” program. Many congregations realized there was a need to continue and deepen this work. After much study a new program called “Living the Welcoming Congregation” was developed. There are a number of requirements to receive this status of “ Living the Welcoming Congregation.” Our first step in achieving this status is to offer a series of 11 workshops to our congregation. We will do the first 5 sessions this spring and the others this fall. The workshops will be on Sunday afternoons from 2-4 P.M. on March 24, April 7, April 14, May 5, and May 12. Please Join Us!
