Peter Mayer in concert

Minnesotan Peter Mayer writes songs for a small planet–songs about interconnectedness and the human journey–songs about life on earth and the mysterious and wondrous fact of our existence. He also writes about smaller topics like spending the day in your pajamas and how to make pickles. His song “Blue Boat Home” is in the UU hymnal, and if you’ve attended a UU service, you may have heard other songs of his.

Peter Mayer will be in concert right here at the CVUU on Saturday, May 25th at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $50 in advance for a reserved seat, or by freewill donation at the door for an unreserved seat (suggested donation $15-25, but no one will be turned away). Proceeds will go to the Accessibility Fund, aimed at making our building more accessible to people with disabilities. You can reserve a seat in all the ways you usually donate to CVUU: use the Tithe.ly app and select the “Peter Mayer” option; write a check with “Peter Mayer” in the memo line and mail it or drop it in the collection box; or even put cash in the collection box provided that it’s in an envelope with your name and a note saying it’s for the Peter Mayer concert. For more information, contact the CVUU office (319-266-5640 or by email).
